Please excuse all the typos and weird syntax. I'm using voice to text

Hi,
I'm finding myself in the situation where it would be nice to be able to
package our apps or backport newer versions of some apps to work with
modules on SL6.
I've found lots of things on the web that are either too single minded
or incomprehensible.
If you remember how you learned to
to try is to replace the DVI-HDMI cable with a
DPORT-HDMI cable (this card has 4 DPORT, 1 HDMI, 1 DVI).
I would think both of your experience suggest no software issues.
Thanks again!

Just to add another/different option.
I had a good 760G 2.5 hard drive left over when I upgraded my laptop to
SSD. For less $20 I bought a USB3 case for it. It runs at aboutt SATA
speeds and needs no other power.
While bigger than a USB stick it's still small enough for my backpack.

Thank you Orion.
I am still trying to figure out how to do this. I don't switch very
often, just prior to big releases where the whole test suite gets run.
At least there are options.

Tom,
Just a couple of comments:
It sounds like you have one device that is acting like the DSL modem,
and a NAT router. Is that correct you have a single box? If so what is
the make model?
It also seems like this device seems like it thinks it can act as a DNS
server, perhaps caching or just
My first guess is a DNS issue are they both using the same DNS server as

One more thing: Firefox will display what it's doing in the status line

I've seen symptoms like this that are the result of the switch deciding
the port is behaving badly (by some weird and unknown algorithm).
The cause can either be the switch or the NIC or just a bad cable
connection. So I would first try to plug the machine into a different

Thanks for the help and support on this.
