My sci-fi club went and saw it Saturday June 3rd. It was okay, not
great but okay. The action and special effects were great but the
plot was weak. The script or plot just never lived up to the concept
(hype?) of the threat of a cure. The film glossed or sped over the
decision of some

I'm glad for her success, but I'm saddened to hear that a sista's responsible for that on-air crap.

Why is that? I posted a negative initial review, based on maybe viewing one or two shows. I guess I had the gut-level reaction/thought that it was another show with Black characters who'd be second-fiddle to the white folk. But some people such as Tracey said it was actually good, well-written,
Whooa!!!
I NEVER Said it was good. at least i can't see myself saying that. I
said that the black roles were not secondary. The black guy is a lead
and some of the shows have been around Baily the Black female, whose
character I hated as a black female stereotype, but now has grown on

I've been meaning to drop one of my standard full reviews, but just haven't had
the time. Been trying to write something that actually gets published! But I

While a Christian, I do concede that much of what's taken as, well, gospel is

Coulda sworn you said it was good! Good thing that's the one time I didn't

While the show is pedestrian, paint by numbers, and I see LOTS of

I get it. Would you consider yourself slightly jaded, perhaps just a little to
full of various plots from over the years? You sound like me sometimes: my
friends are often saying I'm too picky, too hard to please, when I groan about
the latest cliched, recycled plot on a Black sitcom or a
