I think they are a good alternative to the megahomes that are being built. Some people are losing touch with reality. For example the homes that were being constructed in some areas before the housing crisis. If designed correctly a home could be constructed that doesn't require a lot of square fee

It never went anywhere, but I think that it just hasn't produce many viable products. A lot of inventions at the maker faire are more whimsical than practical. One really cool thing that they are doing is offering it in foreign countries as well. For example there is a maker faire in Africa too.
