I picked up the new album tonight at the local music
indie shop tonight at midnight...i was reading the
insert and stumbled across a few funny things
I may be mistaken:
"Faces in Disguise - William Goldsmith - drums and
percussion, vocals..?
one more thing-
"Tearing At my heart?"
oh
hey folks, just got back from the seattle record release party.
IT FUCKING RULED
we had to wait outside (the store was closed) forever... actually until 11:30 or so...
then the doors swung open.
i bought the cd, the green double vinyl, and got a free shirt and *huge* (bigger than

Will has chronic pain in his hands that he developed while on tour with
the foo fighters. He also said something to the effect of "i dont feel
the need to beat the shit out of my drums anymore" in an article i read
somewhere. This could explain his "sub-par" drumming. Personally I
think he
Hey,
I'd like to thank everyone who came out to the minneapolis listening party
last night. Both dan and I were nervous that no one would show, but about
30 people found their way to the foxfire coffee lounge at 11:30. Thanks for
showin your support.

I'll agree with ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) about the most important thing to
drumming is the groove. It's the mature drummer that can just lay down a
solid beat and not need to do anything else. On the other hand, i enjoyed
the crazy-as-hell fills that are contained in Diary and LP2. When i got
Hey List
Well, while you all are enjoying your brand new
copies of The Rising Tide, I am sitting here awaiting my copy to come in at my
local HMV. You see, TRT is not being released domestically in Canada so I
have to import it, which is going to cost mucho deniero and take 2 to 3
weeks!
Exactly. i think that on the record, it is the way the drums are recorded that
makes him seem "soft." there was a similar thread when HIFTBSO came out, but
anyone who saw them in concert knew that will was playing his heart out (and
killing that nice set of drums). did you see the "video" on
If anyone's going to the show tonight, I have a big favor to ask of you.
PLEASE help me out! I can't get to the show, but I was wondering if someone
can deliver a message to the band for me. If you can do it, please email me
back then I'll just send you a brief email to send to them. I'm
i got a few e-mails, so here i am to answer a few questions:
the shirt just has the cover of the album on the front and "sonic boom" (the name of
the record store) on the back... i don't think
it's really a sunny day t-shirt, just a promo shirt for sonic boom...
on second glance, the poster i
maybe the announcement was in french?
hehehe, just kidding. If timebomb hears from a significant number of
Canadian fans, it won't pass up the opportunity to sell records...that's
my assumption at least

hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. i tried to join months ago but it
never seemed to get through until this time. two times into this album and
i am blown away. it is quite amazing.
I also added a sdre to my little project...check it out. its all in flash

just got the rising tide today on its "official" releas day. Just wondering for those
that followed the time bomb weekly video clips. The clip I think was titled
"orchestra" anyway it was typical sunny day open chords on top of the orchestra and

I'm right with you Marc, We Canucks are sure getting the shaft this time.
Personally, I don't think Time Bomb has enough crapola together enough or
something.
As for William's drumming As a drummer myself, Will is fun to watch,
but truthfully, some people find Diary hard to listen too, it
just to agree (sort of) with the "will's drumming being sub-par"
comment...
i have a friend who is a very good drummer, and he said that he was
really
disappointed when he saw Sunny Day. He said he was always amazed at
the fills and such on the pink album, but when he saw SDRE live,
hey
i must say, on the first spin, i really did love this album. the
production was so much nicer, i'm sure all of you agree on that. i felt
jermey's voice was close to over-bearing, in some parts, but i really liked
it. i miss the screaming, but it really didn't have a place in this
titled "orchestra" anyway it was typical sunny day open chords on top of
the orchestra and piano and at the end someone said "cool" I didn't here
anything on the album reminicent of this clip, is this one of the outakes?
or is it on the rising tide and I just haven't noticed it yet?
