Hello All,
I have a similar question to the one that was asked earlier. I'm in 11th
grade and have pretty much made up my mind to take the path of going to
college. I was wondering if there are any good colleges that

Out of curiosity, how did you manage the CCIE without work experience? From
everyone I've talked to, including other CCIEs, this is nearly an impossible
feat unless you've been working with it for a while in a hands-on
environment. Do you have a photograp

They may well assist in getting through to that interview, though.
Recommendation: Do both.

Based on what I see at work for our positions, Microsoft certifications
are good to get your foot in the door, but Cisco certifications show
some degree of determination to pursue something difficult. CCNAs are
not too difficult to get but impress people sort of the same way that

IMHO, it really depends on what you want to do. I say if you want to
do data, go with Oracle. If you want to do Windows, get the MCSE on
Windows 2000. If you want to do networking, go Cisco. If you want to
specialize in security, go with the CISSP.

If that is the "why", I'd recommend pottery and basket-weaving.
If you have any other career goals, what are they? Different
certifications for different things...
