A few years ago I was taking lessons in an effort to improve my game (got down to a 4.8 index whoo hoo). At that time when I was 100 yards out I would fire up my ego and crank 60 LW hard. I could hit it 100 yards no problem but never straight. I would be left 15 yards or right 10 yards.
