Don,
I have TriTecs in my backup set of irons and have sold several sets. SK Fiber
are very consistent shafts quality wise. I found them to be a bit on the
soft side but customers seem to like that.

Hi David,
We engineers approximate continuous functions with step functions all the
time. Usually because it is either easier or less expensive
(usually the same thing). If you are used to a 3 or 4-cpm/club
frequency slope the question you have to ask yourself is whether you are
going to be able

What is your typical 5i carry distance and your swing characteristic
(hitter vs. swinger)? From what I recall you have to be a pretty
powerful player to like the 75s.

Ed,
I'm wouldn't consider myself a powerful player. My swing speed with a 5
iron is in the low 80's I hit it a carry distance of about 155 - 160
yds. I have not had them long but really like the feel of them so far.

David,
I recently changed the shafts in my Callaway X-14's from steel to the UST
Competition 75's and I love them. They don't hurt my hands nearly as much
and generally feel better. I'm getting a full club lenght more out of them
as well.

George,
What did you do about the swingweight? Did you make the clubs longer? Add
weight somewhere? Just go with the reduced swingweight?
Thanks,
