back in the 90s, I believe Rifle 'R's were 5.5s. I played them and they were
like a pipe because my 5i ss was in the 78mph range. Later, I beieve Rifle
adjusted the 'R' to 4.5, I believe.

yes, these were tapers. I really hate using taper tips, but I didn't have a
choice in this case. I've noticed the same thing that Robert pointed out in
that

softer.

I know you can't trust the 5 inch clamp numbers especially at the stiffer
flexes. When you get up in the 6.0 and up range the curve gets distorted using
a 5

ScottI have the PCS excel chart. The 5" clamp values run + 17 over the
2.5" clamp values. Since yr set is 'flighted'I'm guessing you have 8.0 s[
?] in the 3.4s: 7.5s in the 5, 6.7.and 7.0 in the 8, 9 and w's.
