Hi Sally and Heather,
It's day two of brushing with baking soda, and the stains are almost gone.
I had tried brushing with baking soda when I gave up toothpaste
initially, but my gums were much too sensitive for it. I was pleased to
find that they did very well this time around. Feels like
Sure enough, Mike.
I've answered him on the OT list, hopefully in a kindly way.

Well, Raine, I hope you'll be kindly enough to meet him... half way or
wherever you think he is! Ya gotta admit not everyone is going to feel
the same way about your pets as you
Hiya Terry,
To the best of my knowledge, this is true. We never give our girls
anything carbonated.
It does seem a pretty cruel death though...

that would be? Can't you just hire a Pied Piper? There is so much pain

Glad it worked for you Raine. But be careful, it can be quite abrasive. Try
not to brush the gums too much with it.
I only use it maybe once in two weeks now.

It sounds horrible, but no worse than rat poison, which causes them to die a
slow death also.
My brother has a summer cottage, which gets infested with mice in the winter.
He came up with this:
A gallon bucket. Poke a hole in the bottom of a soda can and run a string
through both ends.
Go back to my post about WARFARIN. The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation
identified the ingredient in red clover (coumadin) that used to cause so
many deaths in farm animals released into farm pastures that were lush with
spring red clover growth. It coumadin is a potent anti-coagulent that

Are you saying that argyria is caused by the large
particles? Dissolved silver salts such as silver
nitrate and silver citrate can and do result in
argyria, even though there are no elemental silver
particulates in the solution. The Ag+ ions are as
small as particles of silver ever

Society. It shows a 0.1 M solution of silver nitrate and
describes it as a colorless solution.

The Water Filter/Conditioner section mentions

100-300 ppb.

Silver does accumulate in the body. It can be detected
and measured in tissues and body fluids by chemical,
histological and spectrographic means. Early 20th
Century researches on silver accumulation used:

The rats fall into the antifreeze, love to drink it, and are poisoned.
Antifreeze will kill most animals. Dogs love it. Dead.

Matthew,
What is .1 M? How does that translate into ppm?
I didnt mean to imply that silver didnt accumulate
in the body, the Blue Bloods demonstrated that.
Peter Lindemans testing concerned the accumulation of
colloidal silver (EIS). Of course silver powder,
probably silver compounds, and
