Yes I would presume so. Most organics, if they have a charge, are
negative. And because they are made of large complex molecules can be
positive at one point and negative at another.
I should think that the charge, if it exists, and if it effects

some plain distilled water through it, which you would discard, then
filtering the CS? You'd at least get the worst of the solubles out of
it before it contacts the product.

Hi Harvey,
Melitta coffee filters, they are white so I assume they are bleached.
These are about all I can get here.
The packet does not list any additives, but then it doesn't say much
at all.
I guess other brands will give better results, as you testify... only
one
I am using white paper towels from a roll for the kitchen. From 1 peace
I cut 4 quadrates, each foldet twice to a triangle and put into a glass
funnel. I never had problems. The paper seems clean enough.
