Go to the grocery store and the salt section and you can buy a box of
NuSalt that is Potassium chloride. 1/6 teaspoon is 530 mg or 15% of
the RDA. Minerals in the chloride form don't use up your Hydrochloric
acid (stomach acid) to break them down into a soluble form .

Which potassium is best, chloride or gluconate? Thanks. Faith G.

the chloride is easy to get and very cheap compared to the gluconate,
which comes in 99mg tablets in a bottle. I use the Nu salt also.

I went to the store and checked out the NuSalt it's $1.79 for 3oz's and Now
sells it in bulk for 2.87 for 8oz's but then you have shipping added to that
too...good idea about the Nusalt though...debbie

Anyone know the potassium amount in Himalayan salt? How much nusalt is safe?

OTOH, the price for potassium citrate with 99 mg of potassium is 4.29
on sale for 180. That is 17,820 mg of potassium. That equals 4.38 grams
for one dollar. Then if you add shipping, it is even more expensive.
Using the Morton Salt Substitute I have for the calculation: Nusalt
is 1.79

Are you watching your sodium too? I ahve read that over supplementing
potassium can deplete sodium and unbalance other minerals as well.

To post,
I get plenty of salt. No worries there. I used to crave it until I started on
Body Balance. Now I don't. Weird. Actually, I've been feeling very well
lately, so I must be getting what I need, I'm happy to report. [grin]
Thanks Sol. Jodi
