There is no gateway on the POTS line. The POTS line is JUST a POTS line. I placed an outbound call from my Polycom IP550, which went through sipXecs to our ITSP, who connected the call to the analog phone system, where the call was received on an ordinary (in no way related to our sipXecs system)
