Thanks Scott.
The tools helped. It was indeed caused by the ITSP not liking the userid which
for Callcentric is the caller ID, and has to be the trunk number they assigned
the account, and not the DID you may have associated.

I have a perl script that gets news and weather. As php or html, I just

I started with the example in the webapp guide from polycom and ended up just
hacking up perl scripts. I attached the idlewx for the 650 CGI. I really should
run this under jetty or abyss and cache the results from wxunderground rather

Off topic here - how are you getting the weather/news to display correctly?
I've played with this functionality - but gave up quickly. I wasn't sure if it
was a firewall issue or not - I just haven't re-visited - any guidance would be
appreciated.

In my smallish pilot (10 polycoms, handful of FXS interfaced devices) I use a
new group for every Polycom feature I might want to set different than the
polycom plugin default, then I put each phone I want to have that feature in in
that group. I went to this because you can't tell in any sane w

Hi all,
I'd like to better understand how Phone Groups are actually used. It
seems to me that Phone Groups can do two things:
1. "Filter by..." when listing Phones. i.e. If you frequently "Send

Still no pro but...as i have seen the exact same thing i am proposing:
Under "ITSP Account/Advanced" uncheck "Use default asserted identity"
and leave "Asserted identity" empty...
and/or
sending illegal caller id to ITSP. Change callerid for gateway and clear
caller id for user.

Hi Mike,
If your users have a PC as well then a possible solution would be to run a
softphone (like x-lite 4.0 beta, although it seems to have disappeared
from Counterpath's site)
next to the polycom with the same number.
In the softphone it is easy to add contacts, so it would be easier to get

Sipxecs 4.0.4, behind NAT router with sipXbridge implemented.

Scott,
I'd be curious if you could enlighten us regarding the following...
When I place a call and the remote end terminates completely via SIP
(this happens more and more often), the receiving end shows both my CID
number as well as "sipXbridge" as the caller.
When I call internally, obviousl
Two problems with that
1. It makes the phonebooks on the Polycoms difficult to use if there
are too many entries
2. I don't know all of the possible "non-primary" phone numbers for all
of my Customers.
And the person that answers the phone is not the person that can add

Presence status is not held in Afile on the phone.
Presence comes from a subscription to the RLS (resource list server). The
phone subscribes and receives updates accordingly.
