NO. It works for us with both PRI and SIPTRUNK. Your provider or gateway must be capable of sending t.38 or g.711 and allowing a reinvite to t.38. You have neglected to indicate HOW the faxes are coming to sipx. You might consider running a fs_cli in debug and looking at the sofia.log for this,

I have certainly allowed G711ulaw before the upgrade but due to another issue that I was investigating I have forced only to G711alaw. Maybe if it has never been implemented before it could be great to have G711alaw support for people not using ulaw (out of USA) Thanks for your feedback. Cyril
