Hi all,
Download links available below for the latest version of Snowglobe
(1.1.0.2558), and of course here:

The only new things in this build are for Linux users today:

I added a few patches for some really minor bugs to JIRA last week and Rob
Linden added a comment suggesting to poke SLdev for peer-review
(particularly for VWR-5063) and/or possible consideration in SnowGlobe for
some of the others.
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes a look :).

Regarding upgrading the modeling tools, is anyone familiar with a 1988
Macintosh CAD drafting program called Ashlar Vellum and their
"drafting assistant"?
You need to watch this video. YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS VIDEO. After
about 30 seconds this video gets to the really important bits.

I would rather the one with the older date and the Linden name on it survive.
Done.

OK. If the image in your viewport is static, then you could do it like
the appearance editor does it. If you want it to be dynamic, then it is
quite a bit of work as Cypren described.

Perhaps we can merge this new issue with
http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12278 ?
I'm not picky which one becomes the one we run with, but gathering these
ideas in one central location would be a great boon.
If no one else has the time, I'll probably merge the two at some point
next week.

I've linked in https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3334 which covers
features I've wanted since day one
To be clear: when you say "browser" you are talking about the browser
inside the viewer, not the viewer itself. Right?

I am trying to render another graphics window inside second life browser,
this window should be able to render objects (generated using opengl
commands). Yeah I am looking for independent floater window, which can do
this.
Thank you.

I plan to get back to that soon. I've been helping Admiral Admiral on a
UI project, but that should be be complete by the end of August. Then
I'll be moving back to VWR-6199.

You need to be more specific. Wha does "viewport inside viewport" mean?
Which graphic application? The browser inside SL already pops up just
like another UI floater. Are you asking for an independent floater that
is initiated as a browser popup or something still inside the browser

I can't speak for the majority of that Jira. I can't say if the cost
of creating or processing what you're talking about would be worth it.

Just gonna pick out one thing here:
* Add Option for Full White Ambient Light to View Textures Unaltered by
Light
There is a Full Bright option on the texture panel of the build tools, which
I think does this.

Back in late August of last year, Qarl put up two Jiras to try to read
people's opinions. One was in favor of improving exiting prim modeling
tools, and the other was working on mesh importing.
With almost 500 votes cast, the winner was mesh import by almost 4:1.
(Forgive my math, please)
To me,
I think you can use XML on the UI and add it to the menu.
i do know there was a number of people working on things just like this.

Ok a quick heads up there is 4 points i found that has bugs that will need to
be fix.
1. Mini Map graphic errors again and the minimap is out dated in some ways it
needs a 3D look to it.
2. Voice problems yet again has pop its n
