Anyone on the list have any information about the banquet at NATS this
Friday? (What time, where, etc.?) You can reply privately.

For those of you who may be interested, I'm unsubscribing for a few weeks. I'm
moving into a brand new house starting tomorrow, then off to the Lethbridge
Airshow August 5-6 where we are putting on a High Power Rocketry demonstration,
then down to Columbus, Ohio for a three week business trip. In
I believe Scott Marshall recommended the Fun One by CR (760) 451-0056. Like
you I am ready to move up from an EPP Zagi slope plane to something better.
Several people recommended the Fun One because it is cheap only $70 or $80
and performs very well. I have seen several of them fly. They say if
Hi Mike and RCSE,
I'd recommend you check out CR's Fun One. At $90 with a fiberglass fuse and
pre-sheeted wing it is a great value, a great plane and a fast build. I've
raced mine man-on-man at club races against mini-ellipses, sparrows, snipes,
sharks and other critters, and it is very competi
I have two :)

I sent this to Dave but can't take credit for it. James T Miller
was the one who sent this in reply to P51 decals. It is a good
site to make decals for various graphics.

As good as computer radios are, they still have some short comings.
Fortunately, they can usually be overcome. The described problem occurs
whenever you have two servos moving mirror image control surfaces. ie
ailerons or flaps. The problem is always there, sometimes its so small you

$95.00, with manual. Selling for a friend. This Radio is the forunner of
the Airtronics Vision. The big difference is that instead of programming
digitally, you flip up a screen and adjust a bunch of dials. All the
important stuff for full house sailplane flying is there. One advantage is

Thanks, John. This should be adequate. I'm still accustomed to larger power planes
and have a mindset of strong, "bulletproof" linkages. This is, after all, a HLG using
9 oz-in servos which are lightly loaded.
But, still, it's better to fret over the details than have something come unglued
G'Morning ladies & gents,
Directed primarily towards the scratchbuilders on the list (are there any
out there anymore?), I was curious if anyone has had any experience with
sailplanes built from the following "Icare Sailplanes" fuses:
Martinet F3I, X-Country

Does anyone have the Voltz wing max servo in stock. Seems like there is a
shortage in the supply line.
Thanks
Eugene:
Volz is producing now the new up-dated servos. There is a huge demand
which caused
some delivery delays!!
The Volz Wing Maxx servos set a new standard for high quality servos
for use in thin wings, its 10 mm (approx. 3/8") thin body, patented frame
mount, high speed and power set it apart
Hi Guys,

I know I solved this with my 8103 and I think it has to do with setting my
flap subtrims all the way, one way or the other. I first ran into this when
I got into open class planes for the first time. I had a MPX Flamingo
Contest with MPX 3BB servos,
I was wondering if there are any places to fly around the Oshkosh area?
Thanks,

Silence?
I wonder why there is a silence after I announced that "Proper
interference immunity (RF integrity) test MUST be made with a 2nd or

relation to the on channel TX and Rx."
Fun?
Neither do we derive fun on preflight ran
