It´s the same as the graupner DS368.
I´ve got 2 of these, works good. Very strong and accurate.
But they are almost new and no "real life" experience are avaiable yet.

problems with range, etc. I like the idea that it doesn't require any
special adapters to work on the transmitter. I also find it easier to deal
with than with the telescoping antenna.
BTW, I am using the antenna on a

before knowledge. I have been using a Smiley antenna and range is no issue.
If you take a look at how many experienced pilots are using coil wound
antennas with great results you'd know the "advise" you got was bogus.
