Aloha,
I am in need of the assembly instructions for a FVK
Graphite that was won at the SWC raffle. A copy, or
the original if possible. I would also appreciate any
hints on how to improve on an already fabulous
model...

Cobra owners:
I have a Cobra fuselage and tail (red on bottom) for sale. You can buy
fuse/tail only for $175, or with custom-fitted 1400 mil battery and two
Multiplex Micro MCV2 servos for $335.
I also have a right wing panel--also red on bottom--with some repairable
damage that anyone who has
Thanks for your answer. I totally agree that it's all
about competing and having fun. That's why I am also
building a Bird of Time and I intend to compete with
her in our local (I just joined a club after flying
for many years all by myself).
I just have a thing for fibers and technology. That's
CA is permanent on most surfaces. Use 1500 or better 2000 grit wet and dry
paper to smooth and level CA with paint. Be careful not to sand through the
paint. Use Turtle wax red rubbing compound and finish with Turtle wax white
compound. If you are careful with the sand paper and the rubbing c
Hi
When we run F3B locally, we encourage people to fly anything, even floaters.
A Stepp 3 (3 metre floater) can do a 50 second speed run. My record with a
Stepp Upp+ was 34 seconds. My previous best was 36 second, so I improved.
Now I have a Tragi 700.
You set your own benchmarks, and compet
Hello,
I'm closer to finishing my Bird of Time with spoilers
actuated by wing servo's (thanks again for all your
building tips. Should have it ready by Easter.
Yesterday I had my first experience with winch
launches and F3B flying with an, I think, english
design called Cobra.
Also, browsing th
I have an old 'hand-me-down' Flamingo for which I'd like to get the setup.
Does anyone have the manual on this bird? For starters, I'd like to get the
CG, throws, differential and ai/ru mix.
Thanks,
Dave

The Fun-1 uses a totally different airfoil though (a rather thick SD 6060,
I think). IMO, you can't really compare them either way, as the Fun-1 is
somewhat slow, and designed to compete with other Fun-1's. I have a friend
who's had the obechi sheeted Sparrow and now the composite 66" and he see
Does anyone have opinions on this model? I fancy something different so I
was looking at the stingray and the q continuum canard. Anyone have a users
eye view?
