We contacted the AMA for lease information last fall. The were very quick in
getting us 3 different lease templates to use as a starting point.
Our AMA contact was Erin Dobbs 765.287.1256
She was fast and efficient. Erin also gave us this contact number if we
needed more help. Flying site

About 4 years ago I had the same thing done to my 783. It was done by Mike
Byrd at R/C service in San Diego who in my opinion is the best in this
country with JR. Fast turn around and very reasonable. I've done business
with Mike 11 years now.
I sent it in for it's normal check up and

I just found some molded packing styrofoam on a rack

Hello Brent,
If you need a vacuum pump, you should give ebay a try. You will be

foamcutter and have been able to buy most of what would have been my high
dollar linear motion components for a good deal on ebay. You can
So, you've managed a 100-130 foot launch with your DHLG. Now what do you
do? What are the games played in this class?

I had it figured out correctly! It's not a flying contest, it's a launching
contest. G Thanks for clarifying that, Charles.
Thanks to Ron, too, for the rules. Did I read correctly that the longest
allowed flight is 2 minutes? Is that so that they can get back to the
really fun
Ok one launch, a 6 minute flight, then a hand catch for an extra 50 points.
Gee that sounds familiar. :-)

The best game seems to be to dive down to the launch height of the
non-DHLG HLG's and do an outside loop around them then coast back up to
the thermal they can't reach. :-)

Good question. My personal answer would be that it depends on how
quickly DL planes come into use in your club. Right now we tailor them
so that anyone can be competitive, but the guy with a really good
