I'm lousy at estimating heights. My guess is 80'. But that is every throw

Manny:
Your performance last Sunday at the Inland Soaring
Society-SC2 event, winning the Expert Class and finishing 4th overall is just
outstanding.
You finished only 1 point off the third and 3
points under the 2nd overall places.
Keep up the good work!!
best regards,
Alberto

It's all fun, I agree. For some darned reason or another the LM Bass is currently the
most popular fish in America, overall. I live right next to what may be the best bass
lake in America (this year). When in Rome...

Yea - I'll second that. A good bass is like having a dozen or

Yeah, I've caught salt-water stripers and bluefish and tarpon on a fly

Greetings,
I wonder if the guys flying the "Escape" would share there CG set up with me? Say at a point aft of the LE, at the root, either in MM or inches. I would like something that fly's "good" and not so far aft that its "squirrelly" (SP?). TIA

I like to see folks asking about CG ranges. I think it's entertaining and
sometimes educational. Even if I don't own the particular plane being
discussed.
R.D. Smith has started the ball rolling with the Escape. If you fly one,
please tell us your CG location (from LE please).

Pictures and video are on GliderKing. I'm adding some more video as I learn
how to fly Final Cut (Mac), but enjoy the two that are on the site. One is a
fly-by of Cape Blanco Oregon with a couple of DS turns for good measure. The
other is of Tom Seitz Mojo during one of his slower 150mph runs.

Every design contains a series of compromises. The 727 had a t-tail. Was it for performance or because the exhaust of the Fuse mounted engines was in the way of a standard tail? What part does structure play in the decision making compromise.

I think you would be surprised at the size of the fish Martin goes
after. Bigger than the largest bass. Maybe not sea bass however. :-)

Man, sounds like more of you guys fish than fly! I'm probably gonna have Gordy on my
butt now :-) Just to keep it soaring related - I usually see several bald eagles out
on the lake here, and one pretty day a week or two ago we saw 6 of them in an area
that generally only has a couple. 3 of
