We just had a "one-design" contest with 4 identically
outfitted, donated Aspires and JR radio systems this past weekend. Most of
the poor 3M moldie guys didn't know what to do with a handful of wood and
covering.
Sure makes for an interesting contest when EVERYONE flies the

I have a 48 EPP foamie covered in strapping tape, then Ultracote. One of
the wings is twisted and I'm wondering if there is a way to fix this
If the strapping tape was put on with uneven ntension, you are sort of
screwed.
However!, you can try blocking the plane in some wood scraps with
Polypropaline doesn't bond to much of anything. In order to get a
permanent bond it needs a surface treatment. In industrial settings
the preferred method is to expose it to fluorine gas but that's REALLY
nasty stuff and not for amateures. A much safer, though less
effective, alternative is
I had a similar problem on a zagi a few weeks ago an was able to solve
it by slightly over-twisting the wing to remove the warp and then
maintaining the twist using 3/4 strapping tape. Start on one side of
the wing and attach around 4-5 of tape at around a 45 deg angle to

Hello,
I have been flying the Omega 3 the past year. I
liked it enough I got another one for next year. I have seen the other
emails about the Omega. To clear up a few things, I don't believe the
airfoil is a true 7038, if you take a pattern against it, the airfoil is thinner
than a 7038.
