I would not try to learn on a Zagi. A Bowman's

I'm looking for a roll of twisted servo wiring (3 or 4 lead) to make
some long aileron connections. Anyone know of a good source?
Thanks,

Call it what you want. The part that broke on both in my
wing-maxx servos was a tooth on the large gear of the output
shaft. I would concider that a gear break. The red servos have
the brittle idler shafts. Aside

I recently posted my own experiences with HS 225MG servos. I suffered
the failure of four of these servos in the space of a month. The
first was a flap servo on my Hera that failed in flight. (This had
been in the plane about 2 years.)
The other three were on the rudder and elevator of my wife
I didn't mean to start a pure Hitec bash. They do, in
my opinion have a problem that has cost me pretty
dearly. But, I have not had a problem with the 85mg
servos that I am using in the wings...yet. I guess I
just NEVER had a servo go bad and maybe I expect too
much. I will be getting some differen
So...where does one find these blue servos?

The first Blonde GUY SERVO joke ... and well worth the wait??
An Irishman, a Mexican and a blonde guy were doing construction work on
scaffolding on the 20th floor of a building. They were eating lunch and
the Irishman said, Another 'HiTec 225 Failed! If I get another

OK, a few questions to direct the conversation a bit.
1. How do we detect defective gear, such as servos, before we trust our
expensive toys to them? Would it help to get a servo driver and "burn them
in" by cycling them for some set period ?- this will prove the initial
durability of the electro
Someone told me that GWS still sells the servo that Cirrus labeled as the CS-21.
Personally, I'm not sure I trust them on anything but a slow flying airplane.

It's mainly been about the 225. I have a a whole bunch of Hitec 80'2. 81's and 85's
and havent had a problem with them. In fact, I've had some HS-85's in my primary DS
plane for 2 years without a problem. The JR servos in that same airplane have got all
jittery while the Hitec's remain solid.
I've used HiTech servos for years in lots of airplanes - both powered and
sailplanes. I've never had a systemic failure of HS225 or HS85 servos. I
would not consider them inferior to a comparable JR or airtronics servo.
I did replace two HS85's in an Escape once when I blew out both aileron
