Thanks to the Cincinnati club members for a great contest. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The weather was challenging, to say the least. It surprised me that when the contest
was over there were no planes lost or even severely damaged. We got 6 rounds in both
days and all went home with our planes.
Dick Cheney flew into the Columbus area this
morning. As soon as I heard about it, I repeated my GWS Tiger Moth test
out behind the garage. Once again I lost throttle control at ten
paces with the antenna collapsed and less than 50 paces with full antenna
extension.
I'll try it again in

I also think Tom's got it wrong. Its not him and Ch47, its all of us. Its
just that occasionally some of us either forget our mediciation or take the
wrong color capsule. If we do that then we might hallucinate a bit, notice
things that don't exist like, for

I will try to look up a couple of the shops. Tell me, how far do you have to
drive to find enough open space to set-up a winch and find some thermals? I
won't be able to do that this trip, but geeez things seem a bit crowded out
here.

chart out some of your launches as you try some of these things. Once you
can quantitate it, you can make logical decisions. You will have to
measure multiple launches, you can't just judge it on single attempts. It
