southwest of Texas... 8^)... It's summer there, isn't
it? It's raining in Houston as I type this. I'm going
to Austin tomorrow to pick up a Pik-20B, (real one).
If I get rained out here in Houston like I did last
year... oh well...

Hey guys,
I've got lots of time on my hands, if you don't, and need something
built, I will build it for a very reasonable price.
Not interested in kits, not enough time for them this winter.
Send me a email [EMAIL PROTECTED] and tell me what you have and
I'll give you a price. (Give me a
Yup, this is a three minute ladderflights are counted in increments
of three minutes and any time over that doesn't count and from a strategy
point... any time over a three minute increment is lost time unless the
pilot decides to go for the longest flight.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my Solar plane and I want to do some
ground based static tests before I risk another infight structural failure.
The failure was caused by one of two possibilities.
1)The Spar in the H-Stab failed at speed.
2)The Tail boom was too flexible leading to a tuck runaway

As I think back about the season of 2004, there were three special days I
was lucky to be in the presence of, each was special in it's own way but
the end result was identical.
The first was at Nats when Steve Siebenaler won his last contest necessary
for Level V.

T'was a nice day here in Dallas also, it reached 72 degrees at my house. But, the winds were too high for good thermaling after the 2004 TNT conditions lifted at 2:00 PM. So, I pulled out the Litespeed and went for a ride. Got to get ready for my week in Snowmass in two weeks!!

Wishing you all Happy New Year and good health in 2005.
Looks like the country is about evenly split between the guys enlisted to
fly in the cold, wet side and those on the sunny side of the USA. It's all
about fun and I have just finished installing the rc in my Astro Jeff that I
haven't flown
Tomorrow looks a little dicey for my Oly II. It is forecasted to be blowing
about 16 MPH in Central Maine, but the temperature will be tolerable and the
sun will be shining, so I'll launch it at least once so I can say I
participated.
Happy New Year to you all/Anker
