Hi all, Anyone interested in doing some contest for some bucks, I'm talking about a $50. to $200. entry fee with all of it paid back. They do it in a ton of amateur sports, from golf , bowling, bass fishing, ect. Any reason why not in T/D flying ? Anyone interested in the Midwest anyway ? I

When I do go slope flying, it is almost always over water - the Pacific Ocean. My favorite spots to fly are Kahakuloa and Kapuna. If there was a problem, most of the time the wind will blow the plane back toward the slope and the plane will not end up in the water...but smack against the rocky fa

Well actually if you are flying over fresh water. and soak your electronics in a dielectric oil you can safely recover your gear. I bought Aerotrend's AeroPlate... saw it at the Wram show they run a little N gauge train in water at the show. As for what makes it aluring... I would guessthe risk
