I'm reinstalling Real Balls on all of our club winches and I would like to
get a definitive answer as to how to advance/retard the timing on them. All
of the links on the Winch Doc site are down,so any advice would be
appreciated.

When I install my servos I put them on a bed of epoxy/micro-balloons about a
1/16th above the servo bay floor(very thin plywood). When it's time to
remove one of them I use a brake spoon (used to adjust drum brakes in the
old days) that I put a 90deg bend in at the tip, giving it an L shape.

How did you manage that? The reason I ask is I've flown both, always
full pedal and never had a problem. Yet, a club member lost his
Compulsion this past weekend due to a wing failure during launch
too. Very odd!

Launched my new Sapphire (less than 2 hrs. flt time) into a 10-12 knot
wind today and both aileron servos(new HS85BB) had the gears strip at the
apex of the launch,maybe a little hard on the pedal.Anyway I dropped the
flaps about 1/2 kicked the rudder around and flew it back to the field and
