What size motor winding wire is recommended to replace the stock insulated wire for a 555?
Also, has anybody had success making a Xterminator Pro wing take 4 servos, or is it worth the effort?

They connect the same as the Futaba. Signal wire is inside -or top for slimline-(orange/Hitec, white/Fut) and the black goes to the outside -or bottom- .

Definitely use Shoe Goo or Goop (Goop is thinner than Goo, but same stuff).
I had a fuse destroyed and the radio tray attached with Goo was still
attached firmly to that part of the fuse.
You can use it for hinges, too.

Actually, Shoe Goo works great for hinges. It takes a different technique
than regular silicone. Mike Lee did a how-to in the Oct '00 issue of RCM.

Subject: [RCSE] How strong is a Hera really?
I'm interested in any words of advice on the launching strength of the
Hera. Is it possible to blow the wingtips off
for hand launch and slope and the Hitecs for
trainers. The JR 10X has a magnesium case and is a bit heavy for hand
launch, not to mention expensive for high risk activities, such as combat.

. It it very stable due to washout and the dihedral at the tip. If you want a contest ship, the Sapphire, Victory, or Bird of Prey would all serve the first time full-house pilot well. If you want an awesome fun ship, the Jade shouldn't let you down.

Any body else see this being a problem or conflict of interest?...

ZeroNone. Just use all the aileron throw you can get, and just enough elevator
D/R so that it doesn't stall to one side when
you give it full up.

Perhaps someone can just machine some Delrin pockets. Different cuts for different
wire sizes. Make them deep and you can just cut
them down to the depth of pocket that suits your need.
