Just got back. Had a great time, seeing all the LSF folks. Jack and Karen, Ron, Ed, Denny Adamisin, Doug Barry, Rick Lake, Jim Deck, Dave Corven, Jim Carlton and bunches of others.

The postman stopped by today, and dropped off a box from Ed Wilson. Wondered what it might be. Too small for a plane, unless it was a Roadkill from DJAerotech. Upon opening, I found a fine quality plaque/clock combo with some nice sentiments on it from the LSF Board.
So, to Jack, Ed, Ron, and
Ray, and other list-members.
About two years ago, I purchased a Big Bird from Ray with a certificate I had won at
the NATS.
When the kit arrived, a few pieces were missing. I called Ray, and I had the missing
pieces in a week, with no griping whatsoever.
Doesn't sound like bad service to me!

Guys,
Thanks to all of you for your expressions of concern about my not being at
the NATS this year. It'll be the first year in 9 I won't be there.
2 things have led me to cancel out.

them. At 84 and 83, we don't k

Guys,
Stopped in to see Andy Herider today. So far, so good. He was able to sit
up and talk to me. The nurse said he was going to move to a chair at noon
today for his first time out of bed since the surgery.
He told me he had surgery 3 times on Friday and Saturday to accomplish the

I'll have the folks in our Church and Bible Study lift him up.

Guys,
I'm trying to program my JR388 for my 2M Monarch. Do I program a special mix
(6-2 maybe?) so that the ruddervators will deflect as the ailerons are
actuated?
Is that done by getting to the 6-2 mix, and then programming in a value for
the deflection, both up and down, for both ruddervator
This is part of the skill of flying: knowing where the edge of the envelope
is, and getting as much of it as possible. If you ain't blown up a ship, you
