I really enjoy RCgroups, for a number of reasons. Primarily, it is great to be able to post pictures along with your posts. Secondly, I can let it slide for a number of days and then catch up very easily in just a few minutes. It seems somehow less tedious than going through all of the RCSE

I agree, the web forums can be really nice for sharing multimedia, I belong to several corvette forums that go absolutely nuts with that stuff. The custom Avatars, the custom signatures, making music videos of almost every event, tons of pictures and photoshop(chopped) images, etc... I'll try

My own primary soaring interest is slope. The slope forum on R/C Groups is hands down the best on the net. Lot's of new posts everyday, with detailed build threads, construction techniques, photos, videos, site information, etc. There are more pictures and fresh slope related content posted on

I agree that the slope forum is really nice. I go there when the wind blows from the one precise direction locally that permits slope flying (NNW) and I get eager to build a slope plane. But the the wind dies or switches direction and I go back to TD planes. So just a shout out for the
