I haven't found a decent way of getting .IGS files into softimage without having to rebuild parts of the mesh. I have tried 3ds max and everything always imports flawlessly in that software, I guess this . I have tried exporting .FBX & .OBJ. I can never get into softimage without issues. -Ryan

I think the IGES importer in Soft hasn't been updated for a long, long time. I wouldn't blame Soft alone because IGES itself gave me trouble all the time even when going through max,polytrans,MoI or Deep Exploration. Whenever possible I asked clients for step format or at least something other
