it´s been a glitch since 2012. Updated when I updated the Nvidia card
drivers.
Let us know how it went.
Cheers.

If I remember correctly, SI shipping with ECS 2016 is SI 2015 SR2 (service
release 2), which is the same as SP1 (apart from the name). That is: No
bug fixes or feature additions.

they did to Sketchbook last year with 2013/2014? Does anyone know?

If you want to just modify the code to just work for PySide, that might not
be horrible. Start from the beta 5 tag

OK that's fine for me I'll have a gander when I get home. I saw there
were also some open pull requests so was wondering if there was
something in those that was essential too.
Thanks Steve

We are using 2015 and so far hasn't run into any show stoppers. although
we have switched to Redsfift as a renderer.

I'm running Soft 2014. I am experiencing a lot of render crashes where Mental
Ray is being purposely disabled by the software.
I can update to:
2014 SP1
2014 SP2
2015
2016
Whats the best choice? What is everyone having the least issues with?
Thanks

Just drudging this topic back up. Is there a build out there with the
PySide support? I see that there is a Qt package in the git repo but not
sure that ever made it into an xsiaddon.
Thanks,

Well ACS is only partly useable.
It is like the Max Biped system.
As soon as you want to do something more special you might run into
limitations.
I would love to see an application actually making a real good modular
based guide system like gear (but even more advanced).

Saw that a couple of days ago, absolutely amazing!
Its incredible what can be achieved with UE4.
PS: Francisco looks like we wont get our stuff until September...I'm so
pissed :(

Modo is nice, if you like bugs and crashes
801 was less then stable, but with 901 I feel like a beta tester. It's
been like this for so many releases, I've kind of given up on Modo.

Hey got the issue solved.
Kinda. Exporting with exocortex crate worked fine and got everything

Exporting with AD pipeline cache made problems...
On the other hand some other exports works better with AD exporter, like on

Try keying all parameters in maya to force the right values getting
exported in alembic.
Also I am quite sure you can change the values manually by deleting the
alembic operator which is driving that value.
