PS:
I always knew I would miss *a lot* that "middle click" feature on a menu to
repeat its last operation.
And the ability to zoom in on a camera view. (SHIFT+Z) on Softimage.
Basically, all the strongest "workflow tricks" that softimage has.

Hello Gang,
This crash is driving me bananas..
Anyone tried to use this for rigging:
Say you want to rig a leg.
- Create 2 parallel crvs following the length of the leg you want to rig,
using say 3 points. (top, middle, end)
- Separate the crvs by roughly the width of the limb.
- Cluster center (or
roughly 10 shots..
putting people on specific shot footage.. I'll explain more if you are
interested..
Ideally you should be based in the UK.. but not essential.
look forward to hearing from you..

Hi Gerbrand
I always found this place pretty useful when needing a bit of advice in
maya, it is soup focused of course but there is some good people on there
willing to help in different areas.

would have liked to see something a bit more exciting.
trilateration
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trilateration in ICE.
Ideally I would have a null with an ICE tree controlling its position, and
feed in the written down distances in to the ice tree.

What programs were causing the most problems? Did you try running them in
compatibility mode? I'm thinking of buying a new workstation and going down
the windows 8 route but might not if its a world of pain.

null position

I have tried using a crowd look at constraint but I can only seem to access
certain parts of there body with this approach rather than there whole body
and it also seems to give unexpected behavior to their animation as well.
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks.
Alex.
Would love to see it for XSI...As you said the tools are so basic at the
moment, its in desperate need of an update. Yeti looks like a fantastic
solution

How did you get from rolled up to flat.. Did you put a skeleton on the

I am really sorry for starting another one of the post but was just
wondering what was going on with the current development of Softimage now
that Lu-Eric and Guillaume Laforge have both jumped ship to the Maya team
now.
