Hello,
I apologize if this is off topic, however I'm located in Western Canada
and would like to ask if anyone knows active frequencies for HAARP.
Apparently, they are frequently active between 2 and 10 MHz and I

They pretty much pop up whenever and where ever they want. They were active a
couple months back on or about 2750 KHz. Back in 2005 they seemed to like 5800

Yeah I happened on them back in 2004/2005 around 5800 KHz and made a
recording. Haven't heard them in a few years now though.

I heard them on 5800 late at night a few years ago. It sounds like
rising/falling tones at different frequencies. I QSLed them and they sent me a
neat package ;)

Cool! I would love to QSL them... Maybe they could send me a long exposure
photo of the artificial auroras they're capable of generating by charging the
air above the system like a giant ne-1 bulb. (Would this be

Hi Rene:
If you're that close the the HAARP antenna field then just put up an
outside antenna and connect it to a crystal receiver. The output of the
receiver can drive an audio amp and speaker.

They usually do frequency hopping. They are generally not on any given
frequency for a long time.
Earlier last year, they were doing transmissions that started out
around 2700 kHz and moved up 5.25 kHz every 15 or

No, they do not use any microwave frequencies for their transmissions.
Frequency range is 2 to 10 MHz as you noted. They are doing
ionospheric experiments.

The HAARP facility is not clandestine in its transmissions. They may

There has been no legitimate concern with it or any facilities like it. The
rumours of "what it could do" started before it was built.
