Hi Ross, Many thanks for your response, I really appreciate it and will definitely drop you a quick email if I have any issues with the build. I am going to install GCC onto the AIX 5.3 box and will give it a try. I have never used the IBM C compiler..do you prefer it to GCC? Chat soon ;-)
