It sure does sound like a hardware issue. But something else (and very
simple) to try switch SB3 to MySB.com (no LMS) and see if it
can successfully stream for an extended period without interruption or
reboots.

Damn. Thought it was solved by reinstalling LMS bit the problem
re-appeared today...:mad:

Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a way to have LMS update the library instantly
as soon as new files are added?
I know I can set a time at which the Media Library is rescanned daily
but nothing that monitors changes and updates immediately.
Thanks for any ideas/answers.

Yes that would've been useful information to add right away ;-)
I'm running macOS 10.13.6 on a MacMini (mid 2011). LMS version 7.9.1

Thanks Jeff, I
In the meantime I had other random behaviour, even when just playing
FLACs. Sometimes it would just skip randomly to the next track. Or it
would stop playing. And on one occasion the music suddenly had huge
distortion.
So am just back from buying a spare PSU. First tests look good. Wiggling

I've been waking to "Hard Rain and Thunder" on my bedside SB radio
reliably (mostly) for years. When I get the disco treatment I usually
find my wifi icon has gone red and the radio needs a reboot to reconnect
to the network.
This seems to be the file:

Unfortunately Last.fm does not seem to show the application id/name that
generated a particular scrobble.

I don't know if there's a handy sticky post somewhere with all the good
links. I agree it's not easy to find if it exists.
Below are some links. For Windows you want the Windows Executable
Installer version (.exe file).
Latest "official community release", 7.9.1:

Hi
I bought a new ssd for my piCorePlayer (I want to eliminate moving
parts) and copied all due Music and server cache data (after shutting
down LMS).
Now the LMS doses not start anymore, not even from the original LMS
cache / data.
I get the following error:
```
[19-03-03 18:26:25.2250] main
Now I updated the libraries (Download and update LMS Binaries and
Libraries ) and now I get
Logitech Media Server:
Audio::Scan (loaded 1.02, need 0.93)
which sounds not nice.
I will try this if the problem re-occurs. For now, I have first
downgraded tot LMS 7.7.6, from where I upgraded to 7.9.0
(the problem started when I installed nightly 7.9.2)
Let's see where this leads...
Uninstalled LMS, installed LMS again, and I am back to the first error:
And I get the same error when using no cache and LMS config.
In addition to dBpoweramp there's Exact Audio Copy for ripping on
Windows.
Whatever you're using for ripping, you probably want to keep on using
mp3tag to check and finalize the tags.
For getting cover art I'm using AlbumArtDownloader.
---
I run Vortexbox and it is enabled by default. I turned it off pretty
much straight away. It would start rescanning before Id finished fine
tuning the tags with mp3tag. Its easy enough to launch a rescan
whenever you want from any control mechanism.
If you prepare artwork prior to ripping with dBpoweramp then a separate
album art image is prepared in addition to imbedding the art. Google
images is a good place to acquire album art.
Did you try disabling scrobbling in LMS?
FWIW: I've been running "the bleeding edge" LMS for years. Never have I
experienced this. Nor would I know why this would have started recently,
as this code did not change.
You didn't install some 3rd party scrobbler plugin, did you?
Hi Michael
Yes, I disabled scobbling in LMS. But, as expected: it stopped
scrobbling
Same for me... I always used the 'nightlies' and never experiences any
problem. Still I have the feeling that the 'double scrobbles' started
with 7.9.2. I did not install any other 3rd party scrobbler, at
Yep, had already read about needing to enable the Flow setting.
rather than pcm? Also, my sources are already in flac, does it then
Hello,
I have a weird problem I can't explain...
I have been running Logitech Media Server on Debian for 10+ years, with
about 2,000 albums, mostly WAV, and files up to 24-bit/192 kHz all
working just fine.
However, I have two albums downloaded from Bleep.com which are both
24-bit/44.1 kHz WAV
Any ideas how I can resolve this?
First of all: check server.log for any hints about about an error
happening when you do a search. And scanner.log for any issue during the
scan (in particular at the bottom).
If that doesn't give any hint, please provide more information:
(unfortunately) th
Try compressing it using FLAC and tag it properly.
And check your log files for any hint about the failure.
