hmmm ... found the guilty plugin and it was one of mine, of course :). LMS was constantly asking for metadata of a track that was not and could not be cached. Would you happen to know, when getMetadataFor is called, what is the minimum infoset that will decide LMS to not continue asking for metada

First, allow me to apologize for my earlier post in this thread, regarding my inability to play FLAC Interactive at all... I had inadvertently damaged my installation of openssl, which was the cause of that. Now fixed. I have played with all the settings I could find in LMS and applets on my SB
