I have the same issue.
I'm running 7.9.2 with three Squeezebox Receiver players and it has been
working as intended for years, but recently I find that if I have one
player turned on and playing music (from my server) and then turn on
another player the first player stops.
This happens bet
I thought the times of my MusicInfoSCR screensaver were over. But SqueezeAMP
kicks of a revival 🙂. Install the plugin. It allows you to customise the Now
Playing screen in many ways.

OP says he can play the track. Therefore the filename isn't the issue.
The remaining issue is the genre. Which must be in the tags. What tool
did you use to edit the genre?

I've just taken an album from my spare music folder (Aztec Camera - Best
of), re-tagged the first track's title and filename to "!!!",
Windows has no problem with the filename, LMS has no problem with the
genre (Alternative).

With a passive heat-sink type aluminium case rpi4 runs just fine with
piCore/LMS (no Squeezelite).
Even when upsamling with C-3PO to 24/192 it's about 50°C in room
temperature 20-22°C.
I have not tested with LMS & Squeezelite.
