I started having problems with a Radio connecting to my Orbi network.
However, I have the RBK53 - which isn't AX, it's AC. These problems
started last week, and I am wondering about a solution. Anyone have any
thoughts on what to adjust on that model's advanced wireless settings?
I'd still recommend trying Dynamic and SQL Playlist plugins by Erland. I
know someone mentioned a crash, But I've not had a single LMS failure
including one complete wipe and reinstalled Dynamic and SQL without the
old license plugin before Erland made them unsupported. I do run recent

Thank you for this thread. I followed the instruction here and got LMS
to see the NFS share but it would not see files in the share and scan
showed no files. Once I blanked out the options in the piCore MNT
setting it all started working.

I would suggest it's time to move LMS onto something pi-like:)

Youre welcome. :)
What I dont understand: as soon as you restart squeezelite, the plugin
doesnt behave any more as expected? Then you could check, if its MAC
address has changed.

The web page is prompting me to restart to update BBC Sounds, but not
warning of a new LMS version.
Im using WHS V1 as the host server.

Tried via the podcast plugin, but plays (no sound) for 10-30 seconds and
returns to start. Theres no search in podcasts, is there?

You are correct. It does hold the settings after turning the player off
and then back on. Just doesn't hold over a restart.
It's not a big deal to live with. LMS is the best.
Thanks for your help!

Works well for my hardware players.
Maybe restarting squeezelite via command line aint the proper way. Try
turning it off before.
And have a look at the serverlog, too.

Even rarer I have to restart LMS as well before I can get audio.
When it happens it is as if my Touch has

Hi I am running LMS 8.1.2-1612773843 on a freebsd (FREENAS) and I am
having scanning issues (scan for new music only) where new music
sometimes does not show up in the "new music" tab. It will work if I do
a "clear lib and do a complete scan" Below is some output from the
logs.
Any help would

Oh, Deezer - what players do you have? Typically, Deezer has that
problem for players with large buffers because as soon as you grab the
next track (gapless) then it considers
i'm using the plugin VolumeLock for this. Also from Peter Watkins.
Settings need to be made in the Device Settings

Many thanks for the info. I have installed the plugin and it does not
seem to do anything.
For anyone else interested in trying, this is what I did:
Pretty sure that device is only a player. You may be able to hack LMS
onto it, but not without some linux skills. You can run LMS very
effectively on a Raspberry Pi 4B-4GB and point it to any music library
on your network. Easy instructions can be found at piCorePlayer site.

Still doesn't imply that a server upgrade would solve the problem. So
even if you get the update

Most ARM64 systems are capable of running 32 bit binaries, have you
tried that version? Alternatively, if docker is available for your
platform you could use a container version of LMS -
