Client_lifetime is used for maximum amount of time that a browser can stay connected to the cache process. I am looking for a value that will disconnect the client if there is no activity. I.E. If a user walks away and leave the browser up I want it to disconnect the session after say 15 minu

My tests indicate the site has a broken firewall, tripping over the TCP window scaling option. You can get around this by tuning down the max parameter (the third parameter) in /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_rmem, but I would recommend you contact the owner of the site and inform them about the problem.

Hi there I'm seeing a reliability issue with squid-3.1.10 through 3.4.6 accessing ipv6 sites. The root cause is that the ipv6 "Internet" is still a lot less reliable than the ipv4 "Internet". Lots of sites seem to have a "flappy" relationship with ipv6 which is not reflected in their ipv4 realm.
