The problem with the silicone based products is that they just peel away
after they dry on the paint the builder used. Seems like nothing sticks to
it. That's why he recommended the white glue mixture so it would seep into

Are there different setups for the lubricators on the different models of
the C-16's, say on the #42 as opposed to the #268? Curious if only one
model is giving the problem or one more than the others.
