Subject: Sundial Cupolas, Towers & Chimneys Website
Hello everybody:
Dave Bell and I have redone our little website on Sundial Cupolas, Towers
and Chimneys so that it is more user friendly and so that it acts and feels
like our other educational sundial websites. We only have photos o
de of vinyl for outdoor use. You should see how the sun
destroys vinyl house siding and car roofs here in the desert!

I remember that St Margaret church, near
Westminster, London (UK) has a square tower with a round blue sundial
on each of the four faces, yes, inclu
hangs that might shade the southern dials at midday in the summer.

Have any of you ever seen a cupola or &qu

I seem to recall that John Davis had large enamelled steel dial faces
made in Mexico? Real gold used in the numerals? too I believe.

A sundial cupola is a terrific idea, I'm all in favor of it. I hope you not talking about stained glass sundials, but the more common type of external sundial. If I had a cupola on my house, there is no question I would do the same thing. I love it.
