I am noticing some errors when editing rules and
then again when I try to save the rule.
The following error shows up when I edit a rule:

I have a question about the IPSec keep-alive feature in pfsense. What
is the preferred IP address to ping with this feature, the public IP of
the remote tunnel end-point, or a host that is not the remote router on
the private network side of the remote end-point, or the private IP
address of
Any IP in the remote subnet range (remote internal IP that is inside the
remote subnet tunnel definition). It doesn't even have to answer or
exist. It's just to bring up the tunnel or keep it alive as there is
traffic for the remote subnet.

I have installed pfsense 1.0.1 and it works great, my problem is that i had
to install the squid package to permit my branch offices to has web acces
throught my main office.
My lan setup is:
Main
Office : 172.16.0.0/22
Branches : 192.168.0.0/21
Because we have different ip ranges my lan rules

to work (seperate issue, maybe it hasn't been
working on the embedded ver.)

Not seeing that here. Maybe it's hardware related.

Running on a Soekris 4801, it has always worked
before ... i just noticed that it didn't work when
i had the console cable connected ... usually I
don't manage it that way except when I upgrade and
have trouble.
