Well I can't really boot to do a dmesg -a but these are the boot
messages. Just to be clear. I basically installed to the Microdrive
from the LiceISO CD, then mounted the micro drive and replaced the
kernel.gz with the one from the Embeded image. The change to the
/etc/ file didn't seem to make

The below is from a wrap booting a 128MB CF Card and then I did a PC
booting the microdrive over USB.
Note I've t
~$300 case/motherboard solutions? The only one I've found
is the minibox m200 but there's got to be some other solutions out
there using maybe newer/faster procs?

fit the ~$300 criteria.

correct me if I'm wrong) that a WRAP isn't going to be able to handle
2k+ connections and 15Mbps down at the same time.

asing the number of connections
decreased the overall throughput.
Again my assumption is that increasing the number of connections is
going to increase the CPU usage which will in turn decrease the max
throughput. Is this incorrect?

like $340 for a case, motherboard and 3 port gigabit. The
mini-box.com M200 is a bit cheaper but comes with an older, slower CPU
and doesn't have gigabit ports (though I think that Phylon board would
work on it).

I didn't have the top case on at all. Is there some way to tell
exactly why it crashed?

Is the LM77 accessible under freebsd? Looks like at least openbsd
supports it but I don't see any way to get at it under
pfSense/freebsd.

I think the Hitachi micro drives work fine, but unfortunately these

some kernel hacking...
I guess this is the reason the Hitachi drive is 50% more expensive,
probably has a little extra bit of hardware to make it more like an
IDE drive which freebsd expects.

I tried this card on a C7 based board and no go. I used a fairly fast
2GB flash card and it booted no problem. I think this card in
particular can't handle DMA but even disabling DMA causes some issue
with freebsd.

you can set
hw.ata.ata_dma
at the bot prompt. I actually think its already setup like that on
the embedded images.
