I thought I, too, had lost my bookmarks, since they did not appear when I hit
F9. However, they were just folded up. Click the + on the Bookmarks Menu
and they are probably there. Custom icons will reload when you visit the
sites.

Is there any way to move some of that junk at the top of the bookmarks
drop-down menu down to the bottom? When I click on Bookmarks, I just
want to see MY bookmarks, not a bunch of other options like bookmark
tabs, subscribe to this page personal toolbar

Where were they? They may be right where you left them.
What did you upgrade from? Bookmarks act differently in 1X, 2.0X and
2.1X. But I still use the same bookmarks for 1X and 2.1X, cross

Usually, a simple restart is all that's needed and everything is back on
track.

AFAIK there is no clean way to use Sync with SeaMonkey 2.0.x, but
SeaMonkey 2.1 will have Sync built

bookmarks feature. I could set an entry in a bookmark folder and then
set a shortcut to that entry in another folder of the same bookmarks
file. If I later changed the first entry, that change would

Looking through ~/.mozilla/seamonkey/.profile, I don't see what
method is now being used to store bookmarks. The original
bookmarks.html is still there, and readable, but the beta simple
doesn't see it.
Bookmarks are now stored in places.sqlite, together
