Actually this is not true. Many virus protection packages will allow you
to run them along side one another. Defender will not and if you do run
programs like this along side one another you are asking for trouble.

any issues running another antivirus program with it! So it's your choice. Give
it a try, if there is no effect, then leave it. If there is, uninstall the
current one and use the Microsoft 1. Thank you.

I believe Windows
Defender is built in to windows 8.x. it is very accessible it is very good
and it is free. I have not been infected with anything sense I started using
defender on windows 8. If you are not using windows 8.x then you will not
have access to defender. You will need to get Microsoft security
