Pretty much. The penalty for efficiency. We all know cavers always do
everything at the very last minute.
Seriously, that's why we tried to hit all the list-servs as soon as possible after
the situation was
We have not received our ballots.
Personal note, Lee is doing a great job.

Folks,
Seems we have a full house at Deep and Punkin this weekend for trip
leader training. So, we should have some new trip leaders for the ICS,
assuming the caves are open for the ICS. We are following the clean
clothes protocols recommended by Jim Kennedy to help slow or stop the
spread

I've been enjoying pneumonia since the end of December and have been
through several rounds of antibiotics. The last round was particularly
aggressive involving the antibiotic Avolox for 10 days

Does anybody know if a good trip report was ever published on the
first descent (January 1972) of El Sótano del Barro, Quetétaro? All I
can find is a couple of paragraphs by Pete Strickland in the 1972

Yes. I remember reading an article in a magazine, may even have been a
non-caving magazine, around 1972-73, while hanging around Kirkwood. It may
even have been a Sunday magazine section of some paper like the Nashville,
TN paper. I think the discovery was in 1968. I am sure Logan would know as
