Hey Diggers:
There is a chance of rain on Sunday. If it is too muddy it is best we
postpone the dig, but give me a call at (512)847-0183 for an update.
Or come on by and we will have slides to show.

For those of you who swam Sundays at Pete's, you will probably miss
them. For those of you who didn't swim, you have missed a good thing.
Now that they have ended, why not join us in the next best thing to do:
the Sunday Kiwi Sink digs. We are almost half way to China, help us
break on through!
Anyone out there in caver-land want to dig in Kiwi Sink starting about
noon on Sunday? Come by or call and ask for directions. 512-847-0183

Cave photogs: I know someone who has 25 Sylvania FF33 (PF330)flash bulbs
for sale. These are screw base bulbs with a duration of 1.75 seconds at
an average intensity of 60,00 lumens--enough to light up the largest
cave passage. Not cheap, he wants around $20 each. If interested, please

As if there wasn't enough going on, this Thursday, Oct 15, the March
Forth Marching Band will play at Antone's in Austin. They put on quite a
show and don't sound anything like your old high school band. Late show,
starts at 11PM, should be of interest to cavers.

The decision to take the box to ICS was a good one. Many folks used it
to make their own pictures, I shot a bunch more. Thanks to all who
posed. The highlight was doing a photo of Jeanne Gurnee in the box. Also

The photo box will be at ICS. It will be unattended, but will have
