Mario, Daniel and Jeremy - thank you for your informative replies!
I will soon post a similar thread but on "setting up tw nodejs in the sky"
to see if that is a viable route

Thanks for your suggestion Ton. I am looking for a menu that is:
capable of having multiple layers of sub menus (e.g. Living
things>Animals>Mammals>Primates>Humans)
AND have each of those items have their own tiddler so you could expand a
button to the side of an item and see its sub menu or clic

Hi
Have a look at http://tw5.scholars.tiddlyspot.com/
It's not very good, but it works.

Hi,
Is it possible to autosave tiddlers without creating new file every-time? I
want tiddlers to get save in the existing file only, when it is created.
Please advice.
Thank you.

Thanks Alberto. I actually had a look at your website a couple of days ago
and imported the pieces I thought I needed. I got to a certain point though
and it seemed to stop working. Since all of this is new to me, I couldn't
figure it out. But I gave it another try and it is working great so far
I just want to say thank you for all of the help.
I also want to express that, while I honor the work that went into this -
gosh, thank you for creating a project flexible, for free, for anyone
walking along with an internet connection - I'm disappointed with some of
the design choices in TW5.
Hi Elizabeth,
I'm nothing to do with TiddlyWiki development or anything, so I certainly
don't speak in any official capacity - I am just a keen user - but I
understand your frustration. I felt a little overwhelmed too when I came
back to TiddlyWiki to find the new version in it's current state
In addition to Richard Smith's comments, I think it's worth noting that (in
my estimation) TW5 is being build from the inside out -- technical
architecture first, then getting the fiddly inside bits right, then the
nice friendly bits will come on after. So I think it's okay for it to be

Hi annex libération,
I am glad it works for you now. To be honest, I don't fully understand why/how
my table of contents work. While experimenting with Jeremy's ToC, something
went right and I got that functioning. Now I am thinking of writing a general
purpose macro for nested sliders.
