Hi BJ,
Just tested with Firefox 57. The savetiddlers extension works very well and
is very fast. Thank you very much!
May I suggest that you add a line in the readme stating that one can enable
backups from within the extension list in Firefox. By the way, I would find
more natural that backups

I just testet it and got the same result as Alberto if I used his
stylesheet "$:/_CSS/image".
The line: image-left { float: left; padding: 0em 5em 10em 0em; }
The image has to float left to make room for the text on the right.

I had several problems when I created tiddlers with titles with question

No they're not ghost tiddlers. They still have their full content. In the

Do the tiddlers have content? Or are they "ghost" tiddlers? If ghosts, if
you add content can you then delete them?
If you search the forum, there has been some discussion about problems with
deleting tiddlers.
Good luck,

I'm running TW with the recommended node.js install. I can create new
tiddlers just fine and make changes to old ones. But if I delete a tiddler,
it doesn't delete the underlying data file and it just comes back on
refresh. Similarly if I rename a tiddler, it creates the new one but the

Diego,
The way you access a file changes when you move to node JS.
Node JS as a server allows you to open a tiddlywiki at an IP address on
your local network if the "0.0.0.0" parameter if used starting nodeJS

maybe you can try @@text-align:center;display:inline-block;
If that doesn't work, I'd put it all in a two cell wide html table and
style the borders to not be seen.

...then define the noborders class.

Thanks Jed,
That works very well, I think I will get it to float right of the current
tags in the view template. Wrapped to show only if there is a tiddler

At the risk of asking a stupid question - would it be difficult to just
wrap it all up in an Electron app bundle like Slack et al?

Has this been discussed on this list before?

If I understand correctly, then the solution is to add a windows junction
in your FF downloads directory to wherever the files live. Then you have to
use the correct path in your browser so that the browser doesn't know
you've broken out of it's sandbox.
So, for instance, if your FF directory

Thanks a lot! Tested it on Win 7 64 Bit, FF 57. Saving and backups work

this is not the case, i.e. in the FF options a custom folder is set for
downloads, only the very first save (after the "save again!" notice)

I recently moved from a single-file version of TW to a node.js version,

You need a catchier name. Like HanoiSaver or 57Savers, or Save-n-back, or

I am having a ridiculously complicated time trying to use TW. I think a

the marco name changed:

fill:$(foregroundColor)$;
