Ah! I am quite familiar with the mastery vs performance goal orientations. I
have read the more recent literature in this field, c. the last 10 years.
People like Harakiewicz and Pintrich to name a couple. but I think that is
different than Keller's use of behavioral techniques of teaching. What
I met Fred Keller in his later years when he was serving a two-year stint
at Western Michigan University, which for those not aware has a psychology
graduate program focused on applied behavioral analysis. He actually was
a reference for me when I was applying for my position here at Oakton and
Benoit
